Clarion River Boating Program: Heath Pump – Clear Creek
Please meet at the Clear Creek Park Office for a guided 6 mile interpretive float down the National Wild & Scenic Clarion River. This is an excellent float to experience buried history and river life along the Clarion. Ever hear the stories of ‘shooting an anvil’ or running a log raft out of Millstone? Will we see any bald eagles or river otter sign? Come along and find out!

We will meet promptly at the Clear Creek Park Office and car-pool to the starting point up-river. Remember to pack water, protective footwear, raingear, and change of clothes. Don’t forget your fishing poles! Cost is $50/boat with check or money order made out to ‘Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’. Lunch and boats provided to those who register by 7/9. Pre-registration required by contacting the Cook Forest Park Office at (814)744-8407, 10 boat limit. Prior Cook Forest kayak training participants receive a 50% discount. Available spots go fast, so please reserve early. See you on the river!
