Cook Riverside Cabin 17- sleeps a maximum of 8 guests.
Cabin 17 is a beautiful hand-hewn log cabin with a large brick fireplace and hardwood floors. This two-bedroom, one bath cabin comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Cabin 17 has a covered front porch, picnic table, charcoal grill, and fire ring. From the first weekend in June through the last weekend of August, Cabin 17 is a Saturday-to-Saturday weekly rental. We require a 3-night minimum rental on Memorial and Labor Day weekends and only a 2-night minimum the rest of the time.
Cook Riverside Cabins is within walking distance of many of Cook Forest's most beautiful attractions, including the Clarion River. The Cook Forest Park Office is less than 1/2 mile away, where the Children's Fishing Pond is located, as well as trails that lead to the Forest Cathedral Natural Area. Also located on Cook Riverside property are the Pale Whale Canoe Fleet, the Cooksburg Café, and the Cooksburg Dry Goods gift shop. Guests of Cook Riverside Cabins receive a discount at the Pale Whale (transports and 6-person river rafts excluded) conditions permitting. Maximum guests allowed include children & infants. All cabins have gas or electric heat and come with a starter supply of firewood. Bed linens, dishware & utensils, pots & pans, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster are provided. All of our cabins have bathrooms. Dish Network & WiFi is available but not guaranteed due to frequent outages in the area. Pet friendly!
A non-refundable deposit of half (50%) the total due is required at the time of the reservation with the balance due at check in unless the reservation is made within 7 days of the stay, then the entire balance is due immediately.
