Cook Forest French and Indian War Encampment
All day08-06-24-09-06-24Cook Forest Sawmill Center for the ArtsCook Forest Sawmill Art Center, Cooksburg, PA, United StatesCook Forest State Park and the Sawmill Center for the Arts will host a series of living history events depicting life during the French & Indian War. Highlights of this full two-day encampment include children’s programs, woodland natives, cannon and musket firing demonstrations, sutler camp, council and trading events, nationally renowned living historians, French & Indian War era artisans, and live tactical engagements. Every battle is different! Take a walk back in time at the Sawmill Center for the Arts to view British, Colonial, French, and American Indian re-enactors as they portray lifestyles of the 18th century. June 8 & 9 from 9 am to 6 pm

Wildflowers at the Laurel Fields
18:00 -19:3015-06-24Visit the beautiful Laurel Fields near Beartown Rocks and enjoy an evening wildflower walk. Learn all about the wildflowers we encounter on our walk and their uses in traditional foods and medicines.
Directions: The Laurel Fields are located about 3-miles from the Clear Creek State Park office along Rt. 949. Take Corbett Road , across the Rt. 949 from the office. Continue until Spring Creek Road. Make a left on Spring Creek Road to Beartown Rocks and follow the signs to the
